Just a Sharp Scratch began as a podcast created by Martyn Davey, a Nursing Associate passionate about giving a voice to front line healthcare professionals too often overlooked. What started as honest conversations and personal stories quickly grew into a movement connecting Nursing Associates and healthcare workers across the UK and beyond.
Now evolving into Just a Sharp Scratch Media Ltd, the platform has become a full media hub producing podcasts, documentaries, and campaigns that celebrate, educate, and empower the people behind the profession.
Through projects like The Extra Dose, A Day in the Life of a Nursing Associate, and the Countdown to Change campaign, we’re shining a light on real healthcare experiences from NHS clinics to global collaborations, including opportunities for Student Nursing Associates to gain experience in Australia.
